Wow, what an incredible wine!!

It begins with a beautiful BLACK color that radiates from the glass.  This Cab is nearly heroic in stature!  Excitement is felt just from pouring it into the glass!  A wonderful, fumy, black fruit and cherry nose wafts right away.  Those ripe scents are backed by more complex hints of wet stones, blackberry jam, raspberries and oak spice.

The few moments hovering above the glass simply cannot allow enough time to mention every nuance.  This wine walks the tightrope of balance and doesn’t falter.  The nose to the palate is nearly seamless in every way.  Warmth and viscosity, with very large flavors of cherry and clove abound.  The tannins show their stature and finesse and are even a touch on the youthful/chewy side, thus, more time in the bottle will yield nicely.

Again, the gentle and fruitful notes walk the rope with the complex body and density of this wine right through to the finish.

This wine will easily be enjoyed through 2018.

The 2004 Trespass Estate Cabernet is an incredibly seductive wine.  From front to back, this wine has silk on your mind the entire time.

Charcoal black in color, the warm vintage provided incredible ripe cherry and raspberry jam aromatics.  The French Oak barrels in the background provide a touch of cinnamon stick, embers and vanillin.  Smelling this wine is entirely intoxicating.  The palate is very flashy and shines with slippery ripe red fruit.  Flavors of cherry and overripe blackberry are supported by a touch of the vineyard’s minerals and terrior.

This wine is showing very well at a young age, but with certainty it should age very gracefully.  Enjoy until 2019.  Only 360 cases produced.

True to its environment, this robust and stout Cabernet is powerful and composed.  Harvested off of 20 year old vines located at the base of the Western Oakville bench, this is not a Cabernet for the weak at heart.

This wine’s flavors are derived entirely from its terrior.  In the glass are hints of mint, espresso, blackberry, Oakville dust and barrel vanillin.  On the palate stoic black cherry, licorice, spice and black currants.

Firm acid and ripe tannin supports this large wine for years of cellar potential.  Enjoy until 2022 or longer.  Only 75 cases produced.

The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon is overall a wine with a big structure, showing its youthful tannin structure and noteworthy acid balance.

Bright red raspberry, cherry vanilla and currant fruit immediately shoots to the nose of this wine.  It is further backed by hints of light milk chocolate, which is very distinctive of its terrior.  On the palate there is very bright red fruit flavors and most predominately a flood of ripe cherry juice...  Almost candy like in nature.
